当地时间4月20日，我校圭亚那大学孔子学院的学生以演唱中文歌曲的方式庆祝“国际中文日”。经过孔院教师细心指导和师生共同努力，孔院学员能够熟练演唱大连外国语大学专门为国际中文日准备的原创歌曲《千年方圆》。通过演唱歌曲，学员了解了中文的魅力、华夏文明的源远流长和汉字一撇一捺所蕴含的人生哲理。此次“国际中文日”活动在圭大孔院影响良好。提高了学员们的学习积极性，他们希望今后也能参加更多的中国文化体验和交流活动。

On April 20thlocal time, the Confucius Institute at the University of Guyana celebrates International Chinese Language Day among Chinese learners in the form of singing Chinese songs. With teachers’careful tutoring and endless effort from both teachers and students, CI learners can skillfully sing the Chinese songMillennium Neighbourhoodwhich is originally prepared by Dalian University of Foreign Languages specially for the celebration of International Chinese Language Day. By singing the song, CI learners get to know about the charm of Chinese language, thelong historyof Chinesecivilizationand thehuman philosophyencoded in pie and na. This International Chinese Language Day celebration has obtained good feedback at CIUG. Students got actively promoted in their interest in learning the language. They hope to have more opportunities to take part in more Chinese cultural events and cultural exchange activities in the future.
